Chung Gae Chun, beautiful river in the night

Cheonggyecheon is an 8.4 km long, modern public recreation space in downtown Seoul. The massive urban renewal project is on the site of a stream that flowed before the rapid post-war economic development required it to be covered by transportation infrastructure. The $900 million project initially attracted much public criticism but, after opening in 2005, has become popular among city residents and tourists.

Chung Gae Chun is just a river, but it has become a popular place to visit in the past few years. It’s quite interesting because it’s in the middle of a very crowded city. One thing you might want to know, it is much more beautiful at night, especially on holidays, because they turn on the decoration lights!

Gyeongbok Palace

Gyeongbokgung, also known as Gyeongbokgung Palace or Gyeongbok Palace is a royal palace located in northern Seoul, South Korea. First constructed in 1395, later burned and abandoned for almost three centuries, and then reconstructed in 1867, it was the main and largest palace of the Five Grand Palaces built by the Joseon Dynasty. The name means "Palace" [Gung] "Greatly Blessed by Heaven" [Gyeongbok].
In the early 20th century, much of the palace was destroyed by the Empire of Japan. Since then, the walled palace complex has been gradually restored back to its original form. As of 2009, roughly 40% of the original number of palace buildings still stand or are reconstructed.

Seoul, one of the most dynamic cities

South Korea's capital city Seoul is a sprawling metropolis of 20 million people and with one of the most massive subway systems in the world. It's a fascinating mix of old and new, with ultra-modern apartment complexes mixed in with 1000 year old temples and palaces. Koreans love to eat and drink, and tucked away in every corner are delicious, cheap restaurants and Hofs (beer and chicken pubs) that stay open to the wee hours of the morning. After a few nights out in Korea, you'll understand why it's called the "Land of the Morning Calm" because the streets will be eerily silent until mid-morning.

Artificial Park in Seoul

Yeouido Park is a large recreational area located on Yeouido Island in the central part of Seoul. It was once originally covered with black asphalt, and people frequented the place for bicycling and roller-skating. The construction began in 1997, and opened officially in February 1999. It is now the place where many people in the city come to rest and enjoy strolling around, play sports, and cultural events. Composed of a swamp area, waterline area, grassland area, and a forest, you can observe various kinds of life forms living in these areas.
One of the must-see areas is behind the National Assembly Building. This place is famous for having the loveliest cherry blossom street in Seoul. Cherry blossom trees, 30 to 40 years old, line up for about 6km, and is very popular in the spring.

Hello Kitty Cafe

Hello Kitty cafe is one of the most popular chain cafe in Korea.

It can be found in almost all areas of Seoul.

The posted picture are from the one in Hongdae, which is the biggest Hello Kitty Cafe in the city.

The overall interior design is pink and you can see some cute props like huge Hello Kitty dolls or mug cups :)

Coffees are a bit more expensive than the one you buy in the market or other general cafes.

-> A vibrating buzzer is given to customers, to let them know their coffees are ready :)

->Tiramisu

-> Seet Potato Latte (left) / Green Tee Latte

As my general rating of H.K Cafe, I think it is rather focused up to girls.
You may also dislike this place because of the price.
But I recommend you to visit once when you want a place with unique atmosphere :)
